Adaptive technology is a form of technology that allows everyone to have access to internet and resources others may have. It allows blind people to read books online (ebooks), allows deaf people to watch videos (subtitles), and also will help people with learning and social disabilities as well, such as word predictors, text-to-speak software, and spellcheck software. I think the only challenges of using adaptive technology in classrooms would be the lack or resources and ability to get these technologies. There may also be an issue with not knowing how to use these technologies, but I think as long as the teacher is has these resources available, they can learn and that will not be an issue.
PowerPoint can reach the create level of blooms taxonomy by allowing students to create their own PowerPoint's design them how they'd like. You can use PowerPoint for the evaluation and analyze level by either having students evaluate and analyze points in their own PowerPoint, or having students evaluate and analyze points in the teachers powerpoint (ex. turn and talk). Students can use PowerPoint at the apply level by having students create PowerPoint's applying the new knowledge they have learned (ex. a powerpoint explaining what they learned, with examples of the student's applying what they did.) Students can easily reach the understanding and remembering level, because powerpoint is an interesting and easy way to get students to understand and remember what you are teaching. Powerpoint has games, you can add videos, and they have fun transitions and such that will make the students more likely to remember. Students can also make their own PowerPoint's to remember things, and to show they understand the information.

This is the ISTE's website, which are the people who make the standards for using technology in the classroom. I think this is a good place to get updated technology that is popular and to keep up with trends, because this way you can be sure the technology is useful for meeting all the standards and it is actually good for classrooms.
